Somnus Sleep Wellness also has a suite of workshops targeted at working professionals. We focus on optimizing sleep wellness and work productivity and will show you how these can be synergistic rather than mutually exclusive.

MINDFULNESS FOR SLEEP WELLNESS COURSE

The Mindfulness for Sleep Wellness Course is an 4-week course grounded in science and designed to improve your sleep quality. You will learn the science of healthy sleep, how this is affected by stress and why healthy sleep is important for us to perform at our best in the day. You will be introduced to the art of sleep through the understanding of the fundamental principles of mindfulness and techniques to start your journey in sleep wellness.

MINDFULNESS-BASED THERAPY FOR INSOMNIA COURSE

The Mindfulness-Based Therapy for Insomnia (MBTI) course is an 8-week course that combines mindfulness practices and principles with sleep behavioural strategies to improve your sleep quality. This program developed at Northwestern University has undergone rigorous scientific testing. This course consists of 8 weekly sessions and a full-day retreat. 

  • Simple tutorials about the science and psychology of sleep

  • Guided mindfulness practices such as paying attention to your breath or the sensations in your body and discussions on your experiences during the practices

  • Behavioural strategies that you can use at home to improve your sleep and check-ins on whether those strategies are working for you
